Position Summary
This position is responsible for the acceptance testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade services of low and medium voltage electrical power distribution equipment in critical environments including industrial facilities, healthcare, data centers, and utilities. As a NETA-certified organization, our technicians perform work in strict accordance with NETA, ANSI, IEEE, and NFPA standards, ensuring the highest levels of safety, reliability, and system performance
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company screening requirements
5+ years of experience in electrical testing and servicing of power distribution equipment
Experience working with:
NETA Accredited Companies (preferred)
Electrical Equipment Manufacturers
Electrical contractors with a strong service/testing focus
Solid understanding of low and medium voltage electrical systems
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment and procedures
Familiarity with NETA, IEEE, ANSI, and NFPA standards
Preferred / Desired Credentials
NETA Certification (Level II, III, or IV) strongly preferred
Experience with medium voltage cable terminations and splicing
Proficiency in low voltage circuit breaker testing and maintenance
Experience with equipment upgrades and retrofit projects
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Work Environment & Requirements
Field-based role with travel to client sites
Work performed in energized and de-energized environments, including industrial and mission-critical facilities
Ability to lift equipment, climb, and work in physically demanding conditions
Key Responsibilities:
Perform acceptance and maintenance testing in accordance with NETA standards (ATS/MTS)
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and service electrical power distribution systems
Perform equipment upgrades, retrofits, and modernization services
Install and support metering systems and asset monitoring solutions
Execute circuit breaker upgrades and replacements
Analyze test results and identify deficiencies, hazards, and failure risks
Prepare detailed NETA-compliant field service reports and documentation
Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, including NFPA 70E and site-specific requirements
Interface with customers, providing clear communication of findings and recommendations
Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and emergency service work as required
